The Journal of Teaching and Learning Studies (JTLS) is a fully open access, peer reviewed journal committed to the unrestricted dissemination of high quality research in teaching, learning, education, and related disciplines.

All articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription fees, registration requirements, or access restrictions.

JTLS supports the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and believes that open access promotes the global exchange of knowledge, increases research visibility, and advances scientific and educational development worldwide.

Licensing

All articles published in JTLS are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0).

This license permits users to:

  • Read, download, copy, print, and share published articles;
  • Distribute and redistribute articles in any medium or format for non commercial purposes;
  • Provide appropriate credit to the original author(s) and source.

Under this license, users may not:

  • Use the material for commercial purposes;

Author Rights

Authors retain full copyright of their published work.

Authors grant JTLS the right of first publication and a non exclusive license to publish, distribute, archive, preserve, and identify itself as the original publisher of the work.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors may immediately deposit and share the published version of their articles through:

  • Subject specific repositories;
  • Personal or institutional websites;
  • Academic networking platforms.

No embargo period applies.

Article Processing Charges

JTLS does not charge submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), publication fees, or access fees.

JTLS supports the principles of the Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC) and encourages the availability of citation data to promote transparency and scholarly communication.
