Archiving Policy

The Journal of Teaching and Learning Studies (JTLS) is committed to the long term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The journal maintains permanent access to all published articles and associated materials through its publishing and archiving systems.

Digital Preservation

All content published in JTLS is preserved through the journal's electronic publishing platform and recognized preservation services to ensure continuous accessibility and protection of the scholarly record.

The journal supports long term digital preservation through:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe), where available

  • Crossref DOI registration and metadata preservation

DOI and Metadata Preservation

All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through Crossref. Article metadata remain permanently accessible to support discoverability, indexing, citation tracking, and scholarly communication.

Self Archiving Policy

Authors retain copyright of their published work and may immediately archive any version of their manuscript, including:

  • Submitted Version (Preprint)

  • Accepted Manuscript (Postprint)

  • Published Version (Version of Record)

Authors may deposit these versions in:

  • Institutional repositories

  • Subject repositories

  • Government repositories

  • Personal or institutional websites

  • Academic networking platforms

  • Public or commercial repositories

No embargo period applies.

When depositing the published version, authors are encouraged to provide a complete citation and a link to the official version available on the journal website.

Preservation of the Scholarly Record

When corrections, retractions, expressions of concern, or other post publication notices are issued, JTLS maintains a transparent and permanent publication record to ensure the integrity and reliability of the scholarly literature.
